About us

Helen Jones graduated from the University of Plymouth with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Podiatry. She is a fully registered podiatrist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC Registration: CH35425) and a member of the Royal College of Podiatry (Registration: 35835).

With experience across both NHS and private practice settings, Helen provides expert podiatric care for patients of all ages. She is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred treatment, tailoring care plans to each individual’s needs, lifestyle, and long-term health goals.

Helen has a particular interest in supporting patients living with complex and long-term health conditions, including diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, Parkinson’s disease, and dementia. Through regular assessment and ongoing foot care, she helps patients maintain mobility, independence, comfort, and overall foot health.

In addition to her broad podiatric expertise, Helen is trained in dermatological assessment, enabling her to identify and assess a wide range of skin and nail conditions accurately and ensure appropriate treatment pathways are implemented promptly.

Prior to qualifying as a podiatrist, Helen worked within the education sector, developing strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills that continue to shape her compassionate and supportive approach to patient care. She is passionate about empowering patients through education and evidence-based treatment, ensuring they play an active role in their healthcare decisions.

Helen’s commitment to innovation and community engagement was recognised nationally when she received a Leadership Award from Tomorrow’s Podiatrists for founding the Footwear for Re-Wear Project, an initiative that collected and redistributed quality footwear to refugees across the UK and Europe.

Today, Helen leads South Devon Foot Clinic with a clear focus on clinical excellence, patient experience, and delivering trusted podiatry care to the local community.
