Whilst our feet may be ‘out of sight and out of mind’, they play a vital role in getting us around in our daily lives. Necessary for overall health and well-being is regular nail care and nail cutting.
Whether you have a pathological fungal nail infections, damaged or thickened nails or the nails have a tendency to ingrown, correct nail care and cutting is a must to ensure that these do not get out of hand and cause further soft tissue damage or lead to pain, discomfort or infection. If you suffer from Diabetes or have other systemic illness, this puts you at greater risk of complications from poor nail care.
We regularly provide routine care for patients to help manage such conditions. Routine care is recommended every 4-8 weeks depending on you as an individual and what nail care needs you present with. If you or a family member would like an assessment for routine nail care and cutting, please get in touch.
